The  Golf Society got it’s programme back on track for this year’s Captain’s prize at Grange G.C on September 9th following an absence of 2 years due to Covid 19.

We had a really successful outing with 38 people playing, some very good scoring and the winner of Captain John Bollard’s prize returning an excellent score of 39pts.

Many thanks also to all who contributed spot prizes so generously to our raffle which raised a record amount of €1025 for a single outing which will be used to provide much needed support to School projects.

Finally John Bollard announced that Niall Barry had accepted the role of Captain for 2022 and we wish Niall every success for what hopefully will be a return to our usual programme of 2 outings next year.
