The Synge Street PPU golf society celebrated their 75th anniversary in Grange Golf Club on Thursday, 14th September by playing for our Captain’s (Pat Campbell) prize.
We had a very successful outing with 33 people playing and 31 sitting for dinner , including our special guest ,School Principal Clare Catterson .

The winner of the Captain’s Prize was Donal Bollard with an excellent score of

Many thanks to all for your support on the day and for contributing so generously to the raffle which raised €850 and when added to the raffle proceeds from our earlier outing in Castle G.C will allow us to donate approx €2000 this year.
In her address, the school Principal, Clare Catterson, spoke of her huge appreciation for the contributions from the Golf Society over many years and of the crucial role the funds play in supporting school projects.
Finally Pat Campbell announced that John White had accepted the role of Captain for the coming year and we wish John every success in 2024.
