Gentlemen,
On Friday September 30 2016, Synge Street Past Pupils Union are hosting a lunch for all UK based past pupils and friends at the Reform Club,104 Pall Mall,London SW1Y 5EW.
Our Union President, Fergus Flanagan(Class of 1982) will attend and hopes to update you on School developments and the work of the Past Pupils Union.
It will be a great way to meet fellow UK based past pupils, enjoy an afternoon of good company in a wonderful setting and perhaps make new UK based acquaintances from your Alma Mater.
The Reform Club member, Conor O’Broin (1981 / 1982) informs me that there is a strong Irish link to the club through one of the founders, Daniel O’Connell, that is historically significant. Details of the location are below :
http://www.reformclub.com
The cost for the event is £75.00 per person for a three course lunch with wine and we hope to make a small donation to a project within the school on your behalf.
Initial approaches have been made to a few past pupils in a few class years and we already have 17 confirmed.
The organising committee are Conor O’Broin(1981 / 1982) and Leslie Keegan (1974), both of whom you can contact via LinkedIn. So if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to them, or contact us via the Synge Street PPU website.
We look forward to seeing you on September 30th. If you intend joining us for this occasion, can you please drop us a mail by the end of May to reserve your place, so we have a better idea of firm numbers, as availability will be limited.
